Chester Zoo October 2009

Our Trip to Chester Zoo One sunny morning the class went to Chester Zoo. We had a great time. First we went to the classrooms. After we had been in the classrooms we went to have lunch. We saw bats and bears and lots of other things. I learnt as much as I could. I was surprised how much the zoo had. We saw red apes they were swinging about everywhere. They were having lots of fun. We saw snakes and massive komodo dragons. The bat cave was dark and scary. By Sachin Goenka		Our Trip to Chester Zoo On Monday it was a bright, sunny day to go to Chester Zoo so we got on the coach and set off. First we saw the camels while we were walking to the classroom. Then we had our lunch while the ducks came. Next we saw the jaguar. The jaguar was eating a rabbit. After that we saw the ants. They were carrying leaves. Then we saw the beavers hiding behind the trees. Next we saw the penguins swimming in the water. They had black and white feathers. Later we saw the lions. A lion had a big mane, it was yellow as well. At the end we were so tired we got on the bus again. By Joe Bunn		ZOO Poems

	Our Trip to Chester Zoo On Monday we organised to go to Chester Zoo. First we had to jump on the bus. It took a very very long time but it was very very exciting. When we got there we had to hurry because we had to get to a classroom. We had to learn about variation. After that we were so hungry that we had to have our lunch. That’s where we had company because the ducks came to have lunch as well. Then we started on our adventure. First we went to see the jaguars. Unfortunately there was only one, but he was eating a rabbit! Next we went to see the orang utans. After that we went to see the komodo dragons. They weren’t very nice they killed little chicks. Next we went to the lions. After that we went to see the elephants. They were treading all around and they were throwing dust all over their bodies. After that we jumped back on the bus. Our Trip to Chester Zoo Yesterday it was a bright sunny day when we went to Chester Zoo. We went on the coach and it drove off. When we got there we went to the classroom and we saw very interesting things. After that we went to eat our lunch. Then two ducks came and they were begging us to give them bread. Then we went to see the animals. First we went to see the jaguar. It was beautiful and shy and it was eating a rabbit. Next we went to see the penguins, they were in the water. They were cute and fat, they had beaks and they were black and white. After that we went to see the seals, they made a bit of a noise. There were two seals, one big and one small, one fat and one a bit skinny. By Raheem Nawaz		Our Trip to Chester Zoo Yesterday my little sister woke me up on a beautiful morning. I was so excited when I went to school. It was the day I went to Chester Zoo. Straight after that we did the register to see who was off. Then we went on the bus. When it started we sang “Bop Bop a Loo” and the Torres song, it was fun! After that I went to sleep and when I woke up we were at Chester Zoo. I was so excited. Then we got divided into groups and went into a huge classroom and looked at some interesting stuff. After all of that we had lunch and the ducks came. I had an apple and a yogurt. Straight after that we saw a beautiful black jaguar. It walked slowly and was very interesting. Then we went to the elephants. They had huge eyes and tusks and they were grey. Then we saw the lions. They were lying down and eating meat. It was a big juicy bone. Straight after that we saw penguins. I was tired. By Andrew Bradley

	Our Trip to Chester Zoo Chester Zoo was fantastic because I saw my favourite animal and it was a tiger. The elephants’ eyes were enormous. The bats were exciting because the bats were flying around me. I loved the monkeys because they never stopped swinging in their room. We saw camels. There were only three camels. I saw lions. There were two lions. The lions were scary so Miss Thompson was looking after me. The jaguar was black. We saw the rats in the grass. By Finlay Pearce

Our Trip to Chester Zoo Yesterday we went to Chester Zoo. First we went inside the classroom. The teacher did the register so no-one was missing. We got on the coach to get to the Zoo. The teacher had to pay to get in the Zoo. First we saw the chimpanzees. When we went past the chimpanzees we went to this classroom in the Zoo. There were cloths on the floor and the lady took the cloths off. Underneath the cloths there were lots of things from animals. We had to work out what animal it was.
