Welcome
The King David Primary School was established on its current site in 1964. The original school was founded in 1867 in Hope Place, Liverpool. The Jewish ethos continues to be paramount in this school.
This school is a Jewish Primary Voluntary Aided Day School for girls and boys in the age range 4+ to 11 years. The school is operated in conjunction with the King David Foundation.
King David is co-educational and admits up to 60 pupils per year group. All admissions are in accordance with the Admissions Policy. The children are taught in their own age groups and the classes are of mixed ability.
The King David Foundation plays an active role in the governance of the school, electing the majority of the Governing Body. The Governing Body also has one teacher governor, two parent governors, one staff governor, and the Headteacher.
The school is fortunate in having the support of a very active P.T.A. who arrange both social and information evenings.
Information regarding school and P.T.A. activities are published in regular newsletters
